ISO 22241 specifies the quality characteristics of the NOx reducing agent AUS 32 (Aqueous Urea Solution) which is needed to operate SCR converters. SCR converters i.e. Selective Catalytic Converter are used in motor vehicles with diesel engines to control NOx emissions.
The BATCH – 10 Plant is a containerized Machine designed to produce AUS 32 AdBlue/DEF meeting with the highest standards of ISO 22241 required by customers. Made in Italy, Batch 10 has CE Certification & produces AdBlue as per VDA specifications.
The production procedure of the BATCH – 10 plant consists of two independent stages:
1. Demineralization stage
2. AdBlue production stage
DEMINERALIZATION STAGE:
The plant is conceived to deliver 4-6 m3/h of permeate stream with an electrical conductivity ≤5 µS/cm
AdBlue production stage:
The scope of this phase is to produce AdBlue by mixing under specific conditions the demineralized water with urea.
The quality of the urea solution used for the technology is in compliance with the ISO 22241 series which provides the specification for quality characteristics for handling, transportation and storage. Production per Cycle of 50 Minutes is 5500 Liters.
